Our mission is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation, and compassionate assistance leading to independence. Our vision is to alleviate homelessness for families with children in Montgomery County, Texas. We believe strong families build strong communities and our goal is to strengthen families and enable them to become self-sufficient and stable.
Volunteers of America Texas is a human service organization dedicated to helping the vulnerable to reach their full potential. Through our S.H.A.R.E.D. mission, we provide:
Substance abuse treatment, prevention and recovery programs
Housing Assistance to seniors, low-income families and adults with disabilities
Re-Entry programs for those transitioning from prison
Disabilities support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Addition to the programs mentioned above, we offer other supportive services for veterans and workforce development programming.

Angel Reach is a faith-based nonprofit organization that helps children and youth between the ages of 16-24 achieve their full potential in spite of the obstacles placed on them by broken families and a broken system.
Through an array of social services, clients are assisted to address their most basic needs, the primary goal of which is to stabilize their environment and prepare them for the work necessary to increase and achieve self-sufficiency. Services provided benefit residents of northeast Harris and east Montgomery Counties by providing a safety net during periods of financial crisis related to factors such as underemployment, job loss, illness, age and disability.

Our goal is to provide educational and community resources to the diverse population that we serve. CBOW is located at the Sleepy Hollow Multipurpose Building, in a rural part of Montgomery County, Texas, in the Tamina community, east of the Woodlands, a low income community.

At the Community Assistance Center, we build strong relationships with our clients and their families by doing an individualized assessment of their specific needs during a time of instability. We access community resources, establish recovery goals, and provide opportunities to learn valuable workforce skills in order to establish a stronger foundation to train our clients to support themselves and their families.
