  • Agency listing on the Montgomery County Homeless Coalition website,
  • Educational Events,
  • Benefits provided through the Coalition’s membership with the Texas Homeless Network,
  • Collaborative connections to other Coalition members,
  • Inclusion in planning and execution of MCHC projects,
  • Coordination of the annual Point in Time Count.

As a member, you commit to the following:

  • Appoint a representative(s) to attend Coalition meetings and activities,
  • Authorize that representative to make decisions on behalf for Coalition decisions,
  • Stay aware of Coalition decisions/activities,
  • Disseminated relevant information to organization members or employees through listservs, websites and newsletters,
  • Keep the Coalition informed of the organizations’ related activities.
  • Operate your agency in an ethical manner that reflects the values of the Montgomery Homeless Coalition.

Montgomery County Homeless Coalition is a member of The Way Home  Houston ~ Coalition for the Homeless, Houston


Membership is open:  “to any current resident, agency representative(s), property owner, business operator, or employee within Montgomery County that supports the purpose statement in Article 1, Section2 (Montgomery County Homeless Coalition by-laws, 9/2014).

Individuals are eligible for an individual membership.  If you are an organization, you may designate one representative and one alternate who may act on the organization’s behalf when the representative is unable to do so. 


Membership is awarded upon a vote of the Board of Directors.
