Thank you to our coalition members, community members, local city & county leaders who helped make these events a success!  together we can work to  understand homelessness and become part of the solution to end homelessness in montgomery county.



"Picture This" Youth Photo Exhibit  and "Through Their Eyes" 


Clients of Angel Reach and MCYS were given cameras and asked to take pictures

of the places they slept while homeless.  Their pictures and stories are documented

in the art work and documentary presented at this event.  Exhibition presented by

HomeAid Houston and Our City TV.





 













                                   

                                         




                                 "Empty Bowls Luncheon" 

A simple meal of soup, bread and water was served  to remember those whose bowls

are empty.  Servers:  Mayor Webb Melder, City of Conroe

Wayne Mack, Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace; 

Mike Hatcher, Chief Deputy for Precinct 1; Rusty Fincher, Captain for Precinct 1;  

James Noak, Pct. 3 Commissioner; Brett Ligon, District Attorney;

County Attorney JD LambrightSeth Gibson, Conroe City Council; Judge Tracy Gilbert; 

Judge Keith Stewart; Commissioner Elect Jim Clark among others. 

Beautiful handmade bowls created and donated by the Clay Club at Lone Star College-Montgomery

and made available for purchase.  All proceeds helped to underwrite efforts of the Homeless Coalition.
