The Community Assistance Center Food Pantry is a critical part of our efforts to end food insecurity. Following the “client choice food pantry” model, our Client Choice Food Pantry resembles a small grocery market, where our clients can select products based on their specific family needs. Fresh produce, a variety of proteins, and shelf-stable selections are available at no cost to those in need.
Baby care, personal hygiene items, and cleaning products are also distributed when available.
We are a group of people who long to hear Jesus say, “Well done!” We strive to do everything we can to further the gospel in the mission field that the Lord has called us to.

Located in Montgomery County, Texas USA, KUSF is non-profit 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer based organization and a “food run” is the core of our volunteer work. We partner with Donor organizations, such as local restaurants, catering companies and event planners. When they have extra food that may otherwise go into the trash, they contact us for a pick up. Our Food Handlers Certified volunteers pick up the food, weigh and sort it and then pack it for safe delivery to our partner Recipients, such as shelters, group homes and food pantries that are serving food insecure residents of the county. It’s really that simple.
The Center offers services to parents and families to support them and help ease the stress they may have due to unforeseen circumstances. We strive to offer each family or individual assistance with parenting classes, community information and referrals to other specialized service organizations. We assist with clothing, food, diapers, baby items, personal hygiene products, school supplies, linens, small household appliances and furniture. Support groups, individual support and assistance are offered for those that need assistance. Everything in the Center is offered at no cost. We strive to make each person that visits feel respected, safe and loved.

At the Montgomery County Food Bank, our sole focus is to reduce both food waste and food insecurity by redirecting surplus food from our grocery retail partners, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and community-level initiatives to local pantries and ultimately to those in need. Always keeping nutrition in mind, we focus on perishable and other high-nutrition groceries.
