Volunteers of America Texas is a human service organization dedicated to helping the vulnerable to reach their full potential. Through our S.H.A.R.E.D. mission, we provide:
Substance abuse treatment, prevention and recovery programs
Housing Assistance to seniors, low-income families and adults with disabilities
Re-Entry programs for those transitioning from prison
Disabilities support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Addition to the programs mentioned above, we offer other supportive services for veterans and workforce development programming.

Founded in 1983, Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare is one of 39 Community Centers in Texas which provide services to persons with mental illnesses and intellectual/developmental disabilities to all of the 254 counties in the state. Tri-County is a unit of local government sponsored by the Commissioners’ Courts of Liberty, Montgomery and Walker Counties and is funded primarily through billing for insurance and contracts with the Health and Human Services Commission. Service locations are in Conroe, Porter (crisis only), Cleveland, Huntsville and Liberty.
